Daugavpils branch of the Riga's Olympic Center of gymnastics began its work September 13, year 2010 in Daugavpils Olympic Center. Gymnastics center was founded by Latvian Olympic champion Igor Vihrov and Olympic vice-champion Evgeny Sapronenko.

  The gymnastics hall is equipped with trampolines, specialized gymnastics carpeting, inflatable mat and other gymnastics equipment. The gymnastics center offers general fitness gymnastics for children from 2 years old, aesthetic, artistic and modern rhythmic gymnastics.
